Crustacean Travels

 We are getting excited about our trip and are fast and furiously getting the boat ready. Been busy checking out all the systems on the boat - AC/Refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, anchoring Along with servicing our dingy, repairing and adding new canvas and upgrading our navigation and radio equipment.  The boat is almost provisioned.  We have last minute food purchases to go.   The house is almost all buttoned down.  Down to the last few TO DOs.  Still hoping to leave next weekend.   We have been busy with preparations. To date we have: - Added storage and book shelves in the main stateroom and forward berth area - Added propane tanks and storage on our back deck - Hauled out the boat, cleaned and painted the bottom, as well as waxed the hull. - Serviced the engines and generator -Varnished the transom and the swim platform - Ordered spare parts and supplies for the engines and generator _ Waxed the dinghy and serviced the dinghy engine _ and have begun to loading the boat! We still have items on our To-Do List, but we a gradually ticking them off.
