We left the Port St Lucie dock and entered the fifth lock, locking down 12 feet from lake water level to the water level in the Intracoastal Waterway. Our neighbors from the dock and a very large tug accompanied us in the lock and travelled with us up the waterway.
Continuing up the waterway we left behind the cattle ranches, fields, and forests and moved on to more and more homes and then into the town of Stuart, FL.
We arrived mid morning and took a mooring ball at the Sunset Bay Marina area. Once we got settled in we contacted Al, a college friend, and enjoyed spending time catching up and solving all the worlds problems!!
Sharing sunset on the boat with Al. Of course we had libations and snacks!
Ariel, a wonderful guy as always, drove us all over Stuart to accomplish a long To do list
and then to his home for internet and laundry! Thank you my friend!
